Statement Conexión y Transformación:

The new collection of Vanessa Mac Auliffe's works of art on paper is truly amazing for their lack of pretense and  personal vanity.  We see recorded on this delicate material -- using subtle and sometimes strong colors --  light suggestions of minimal melodies.  If sound could be captured with color, ink and watercolor paper, we would be listening to unconstrained relaxed sounds coming from the minds of Erik Satie or John Adams, the composer.

To understand these stunning bodies of work, we need proximity, time and maybe mentally developing a heightened sensibility for the Far East or in the developed sense of design of the Scandinavian mind.  We can only hope that she continues creating freely and without ties.
